Victorian PendantBead Embroidered Victorian Pendant

By Sherry Serafini

Using bead embroidery as your focus, create a beautiful pendant using Japanese seed beads, vintage cabochons, freshwater pearls, and various embellishment beads. Components are created separately and are attached in the finishing, then adorned with drops. We will explore composition, color, and how to utilize a piece like this to adapt to earrings as well!

(Due to time restraints, only a pendant will be created. However, we will also talk about types of beaded cords or neck wires that can be used to display the pendant.)

Techniques: Peyote stitch, backstitch, brick stitch, and embellishment

Materials: Japanese seed beads, vintage cabochons, freshwater pearls, and various embellishment beads

A modified right-angle weave and lots of CRYSTALLIZED™—Swarovski Elements come together to make this delicate and lacy cuff. A CRYSTALLIZED™ —Swarovski Elements button in a complementary color creates a clasp and a beautiful focal point. The diamond-shaped elements can be easily increased or decreased for a custom fit.

Techniques: Modified Right-Angle Weave

Materials: size 11/0 seed beads, CRYSTALLIZED™—Swarovski Elements (3mm crystal bicones, button) WildFire™ beading thread

Twinkle Twinkle
