Emerald Bay

By Jeannette Cook

Dreams of spending lazy days basking in the beauty of Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay, a light breeze swirling the surface of the water while whispering through the majestic pines, trunks visible along the shore… This necklace will remind you of these scenes from your Tahoe Bead Retreat experience each time you wear it.

Techniques: Students must know the following techniques before class: right-angle weave, netting, and brick stitch

Materials: A pool of delicate 3mm Emerald Green 2X AB SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS evokes the deep color of Lake Tahoe's Emerald Bay. Chocolate brown pearls represent the surrounding landscape.
