Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009–Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009!



Bead Unique magazine presents:

• Three full-day beading classes with world-renowned instructors Sherry Serafini, Beki Haley, and Marcia DeCoster
• Free Unique Workshops with Pamela Hawkins (editor of Bead Unique) and
  CREATE YOUR STYLE Ambassador Laura Timmons
• "Meet the Teachers" Dessert Social
• Free raffles, great food, and resort-style fun for you and the entire family

…PLUS, every attendee will receive a goody bag filled with great beady surprises, courtesy of our sponsors.

Retreat Schedule:

• 9am to 4pm – Free workshop taught by Pamela Hawkins & Laura Timmons in the Mountain Stream Room. (There is limited space, so please sign up when you register to attend.)
• 7pm to 10pm – Meet the Teachers Dessert Social in the Mountain Stream Room, sponsored by CRYSTALLIZED™—Swarovski Elements. Come in your best beads and meet the teachers and staff of your 2009 Bead Unique Tahoe Mountain Bead Retreat! We will have a wonderful array of sweet treats to tempt you with! (You might want to eat a little dinner before you come!)
• We will also begin the first of many weekend-long raffles for amazing products donated by Bead Unique, our generous sponsors, and teachers. You'll receive your gift/tote bag loaded with even more goodies. Your group assignment for the weekend will be handed out, and we'll all have an opportunity to meet and visit with each other.

Friday, Oct. 2nd, 2009

• 8am to 11pm – Hospitality Suite is open as well as the vendor booth in case you should need any supplies. (Both rooms will close from 6pm to 7:30pm for a dinner break.)
• 9am to 5pm – Your first workshop begins in the Mountain Stream room. Please arrive early to set your work area up. Workshops will begin promptly at 9am.
• 10:30am – Morning break sponsored by Out On A Whim
• Noon to 1:30 – Lunch is included in your Retreat experience. As a group, we will head to one of the restaurants in the Village that has prepared special meals just for us!
• 1:30 – Resume workshops
• 3:30 – Afternoon break sponsored by Bead Unique Magazine
• 5pm – Workshops end
• 7:30pm to 11pm – The Hospitality Suites are open. Come work on your projects, share your creations, sit and visit, and, of course, join in more fun raffles!
• Friday night Super Fun Surprise Event
• Plus, an Ugly Beaded Project contest!

Saturday Oct. 3rd, 2009

• 8am to 11pm – Hospitality Suite is open as well as the vendor booth in case you should need any supplies. (Both rooms will close from 6pm to 7:30pm for a dinner break.)

• 1:30 – Resume workshops
• 3:30 – Afternoon break sponsored by Parawire
• 5pm – Workshops end
• 7:30pm to 11pm – The Hospitality Suites are open. Come work on your projects, share your creations, sit and visit, and, of course, join in more fun raffles!
• Saturday night is Pajama Party night! Prizes for various PJs (Sexiest, funniest, fuzziest slippers, etc.)

Sunday Oct. 4th, 2009

• 8am to 3pm – Hospitality Suite is open as well as the vendor booth in case you should need any supplies.
• 9am to 5pm – Your first workshop begins in the Mountain Streams room. Please arrive early to set your work area up. Workshops will begin promptly at 9am.
• 10:30am – Morning break
• Noon to 1:30 – Lunch is included in your Retreat experience. As a group, we will head to one of the restaurants in the Village that has prepared special meals just for us!
• 1:30 – Resume workshops
• 3:30 – Afternoon break
• 5pm – Workshops end
• 6pm – Closing Event: We'll toast you on your safe journey home with champagne or sparking cider (champagne and cider provided by Steele Wines). Final raffles and prizes will be given out.

Notes:

How to get more raffle tickets before you get to the retreat:

• Bring a photo of your pet(s) (double points if they are wearing something beady!)
• Post an image of something you've created on the Bead Unique Facebook group, on our Yahoo!® Group (beaduniqueu), or at community.beaduniquemag.com.
• There will be several secret opportunities during the Retreat!
